Jidvei

Jidvei is Romania's largest wine producer and one of the defining names of Transylvanian wine. Its approximately 2,500 hectares of vineyards lie in the Tarnave area, where the cool continental climate and rolling hills provide particularly favourable conditions for elegant, aromatic white wines and sparkling wines.

Combining a long winemaking tradition with modern technology, Jidvei operates four wineries and produces an extensive portfolio ranging from indigenous varieties such as Feteasca Regala and Feteasca Alba to international classics. The estate is also one of Romania's important producers of traditional-method sparkling wine.
